Task: Provide Governance Support For Support WIP And Tickets
The purpose of this task is to provide hypercare for Support WIP And Tickets as per the agreed entry and exit criteria. The issues/challenges faced by the Run team must be documented and the lessons learnt should be updated.

Main Description

In this task, additional support must be provided as per the contract and /or change control for Support WIP and tickets for a specified period or to meet any specific criteria as per the contract and /or agreement with the Run team. This should be a combination of the Client, incumbent(s), Capgemini and other service providers as appropriate, depending on the contracted scope of services for each party.

 

The WIP Lead needs to ensure that the entry and exit criteria for Early Life Support (ELS) is defined and agreed by all the relevant stakeholders. When cutover occurs, the ownership of Support WIP and tickets along with all the controls must be transferred to the Run teams and the transition team should provide ELS as previously agreed.

 

Typically, all the issues/challenges faced by the Run team must be documented and the lessons learnt repository updated with the resolutions provided for the issues. The WIP Lead must keep all the relevant stakeholders updated on the progress and highlight the risks observed, if any, along with any additional support required to successfully accomplish ELS. The Responsibility Matrix For Support WIP needs to be revisited for any change in the roles and responsibilities.
